Oppo will soon release the Smart S7 Mp4 player, which boasts the usual direct RM/ RMVB support as well as support for AVI, Xvid, DivX, FLV, MP3, WMA, WAV, the OGG and APE, FLAC Lossless audio. It has a 3-inch screen, mic recording and FM tuner. It’s only 76 grams heavy and 699 yuan ($102) [...]

Not sure whether these newly released set of “still life” pics are rendered or live photos. They sure look too pretty to be shot from a digital camera without computer enhancements. In case you have missed it on the video, the T8 iMovie home screen is a highly successful copy of the iPhone GUI. It [...]

What Gemei means by adding a plus sign on their gaming PMP the X760: added TV out, 30% faster performance and a price cut of up to 50%. The X760 + is the same 3-inch screen PMP with GBA, NEO, GEO, NES, SFC, MD gaming support with the usual RM, RMVB, FLV, AVI, MPG, MPEG, [...]

Another PMP model has added the plus sign. The VX747 is one of ONDA’s most popular MP4 player and adding a 1.3 megapixel camera will not hurt its sales one bit, I’m sure, if only to keep up with the growing trend in the MP4 player industry. The best thing about the add-on is that [...]

The PMP than every bargain hunter has been swooning over has finally been videoed. The Teclast M26 is as sleek as we hoped it would be though the firmware isn’t quite ready yet. The 2.6-inch resistive touch screen isn’t as sensitive as more expensive players with capacitive touch screen, but the Wolfson chip gives music [...]

It’s finally officially available. You can call the M26 from Teclast an iPod Touch clone or wannabe, this baby is cheap for 499 yuan or only 73 of your American dollars you got a 2.6-inch touchscreen, thin form factor and support for RMVB (supporting ultra-format DVD-D1 (720 x 480 pixels), and AVI (800 x 480) [...]

MP4nation is right on, calling the Ainol V3000 a killer PMP. If Ainol won’t change its mind about the specs (some Chinese manufacturers do), we’ll have a PMP that can kick all other PMPs out the window, including the RAmos T8 with the same-size screen.
You see, Ainol is not merely offering a big 4.3-inch screen, [...]

While we were a little dubious about the Patriot A6’s iPod Nano second-gen form factor as a clip-on player, we are in total agreement to the a5’s aesthetic sensibility. No more hook on the backside, just a nice white coat of paint and the Aigo branding. No disappearing screen though like the a6 but the [...]

Not sure if Newman intended the M-Touch for rugged environments but that’s what the impression it gives me. It runs on Windows CE 6.0, an OS that we haven’t seen in a while. Officially it has a 2.8-inch QVGA touchscreen, 1.3 megapixel camera, plays AVI/ASF/MPG/3GP/MP4/FLV and MP3/WMA/ACC/WAV/OGG. With games, TXT and photo support. Photo indicates [...]

The M26 from Taipower is as anticipated as any Chinese PMP could be. Nice form factor, plays MP3, Wma, FLAC and APE file and Avi, FLV and RMVB and with TV out. Pretty good UI as well.
Hope this comes out soon at one of the online retailers that we know about at a very Chinesy [...]

Newman may have intended to design the cutest clip-on MP3 player. What they have for us instead - and they are not ashamed to admit - is a “UFO-shaped” design. The MOMO-Beetle is no ordinary odd-looking Chinese DAP, though. It plays music for 70 hours or more and has a stand-by time of 3 days, [...]
